Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Design Internship role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Design Intern will support the creative team in producing visual assets for branding, marketing, and digital content, including graphics for presentations, social media, and other client materials. Daily tasks may include assisting in the development of design concepts, preparing layouts, and refining visual elements based on feedback. The intern will conduct design-related research to inform creative decisions, stay updated on industry trends, and help ensure visual consistency across projects. The role also involves collaborating with consultants and other team members, organizing design files, and using design software and tools to deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.

Qualifications

• Visual design capabilities, including Graphic Design and Graphics, with an eye for layout, color, and typography.
• Ability to conduct design-related Research to support concepts, trends, and client requirements.
• Knowledge of Architecture or spatial design principles, especially useful for environment or structural visualization.
• Basic proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) or similar tools for drafting or technical visualization.
• Familiarity with industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent).
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (e.g., Design, Architecture, Visual Arts, or related field).
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to follow creative direction and incorporate feedback.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to learn in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
