The opportunity

Teguh Runding Sar' is seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our civil and structural engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and developing innovative engineering solutions for a variety of infrastructure and building projects
• Conducting feasibility studies, preparing detailed design drawings, and providing technical analysis and recommendations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, and construction specialists, to deliver high-quality, cost-effective design solutions
• Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving design-related issues, and providing support throughout the construction phase
• Continuously exploring new technologies, techniques, and best practices to enhance the quality and efficiency of our design processes

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a design engineering role, preferably in the civil/structural engineering sector
• Proficiency in CAD software, structural analysis tools, and project management software
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to effectively present and discuss design concepts
