Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a talented Design Engineer to join our team. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for all mechanical design work, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Job Description

• Perform mechanical design of hydraulic-related equipment including structure & hydraulic system.
• Perform circuitry design of the hydraulic system.
• Produce detailed drawings & engineering specifications to be used for engineering & production work.
• Produce BOM List for production drawing material take out.
• Develop and improve design to minimize or eliminate quality or cost problems and perform product cost improvements or feature enhancements.
• Provide technical advice and support to other departments as and when required such as job quotation, cost analysis, material recommendation, job tender, material testing and submission, etc.
• Assist in the manufacturing and commissioning stage to provide solutions for any technical or functional problems.
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure meeting customer requirements and delivery deadlines.

Requirements

• Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably with at least 1 - 3 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing industry.
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or Inventor will be an added advantage.
• Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred since the role involves interacting with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
