Job description

Design development which focuses on the aesthetic and functional design of buildings and spaces, translating design needs into tangible designs using CAD software and other design tools i.e AutoCAD, SketchUp or Photoshop.

Developing initial design concepts, creating detailed drawings to ensure project aligns with Management's visions and meets relevant standards.

Preparation of Building Plan/Landscape Plan - Design Development and vetting through BP/Landscape Submission Drawings.

To ensure design development for Building Plan/Landscape Plan in accordance to M K Land's Standard Operating Procedure for each projects.

To prepare Project Concept and Project Brief in accordance to the brief from Operating Companies, authorities requirements, approved Planning Layout and Major Infrastructure requirements.

Preparation of Final Design for approval and supervision of Preparation of Building Plan/Landscape Plan submission by consultant Architect based on M K Land checklist requirements prior to submission to Authority.

To assist on compilation of submission fees requisition, vetting through drawings for signature of plans/ documents and preparation of supporting documents (statutory requirements) for Building Plan/Landscape Plan submission to authority.

Preparation of S&P Drawings

To prepare product listing for S&P Drawings

To ensure correctness of S&P Drawings based on Approved Building Plan, Pre-Computation Plan and M&E Construction Drawings for specifications.

Pre-Tender Drawing Review

Vetting through Tender Drawings to ensure design feasibility and integrity.

OTHERS

To assist Site Analysis for New Land - research/data collection for the new land proposals on site location, zoning, product positioning.

To assist on product development Master Planning works of existing land bank and new potential land and preparation of presentation report to Management.

To assist on preparation of Feasibility Study for each project - provision of data and plans.

To coordinate with Development Manager of the Operating Companies to establish the Major Infrastructure Plans in accordance to project brief from Operating Companies and authorities' requirements.

To prepare presentation materials - support to marketing and site analysis i.e architectural and landscape.

What we're looking for

Degree in Architecture or a related field

Minimum 2 years to 5 years of experience as a Design Architect

Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
