Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Penang is seeking a Deputy Project Manager with 8–10 years in industrial construction, including pharma/semiconductor environments. Based in Penang, you will support end-to-end delivery, coordinate stakeholders, manage safety, quality, schedule and budget, and assist the Project Manager to drive project success.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in industrial construction projects.
• Strong construction and site execution background.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, semiconductor, cleanroom or industrial facilities.
• Mechanical and CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) project and site coordination experience preferred.
• Based in Penang.
• Immediate report duty is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project execution, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved
• Manage stakeholders including Construction Managers, contractors, operations teams, designers, vendors, and site personnel
• Monitor project budget, schedule, progress, risks, and key deliverables
• Oversee construction activities and provide direction to site teams to ensure successful project execution
• Prepare project reports and drive timely resolution of project issues and risks
• Coordinate with Testing & Commissioning (T&C) teams to support commissioning, start-up, and project close-out activities
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, project procedures, quality standards, and HSE requirements
• Support project planning, resource allocation, procurement coordination, and contract administration as required
• Build and maintain positive client relationships and support business development opportunities where appropriate
