Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Deputy Head Teacher, International School, located in Ipoh, Malaysia. The Deputy Head Teacher will be responsible for assisting the Head Teacher in leading the school, overseeing curriculum development, and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning. Additional tasks include fostering a positive school culture, managing staff, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and contributing to the strategic direction of the school.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with a postgraduate teaching qualification
2. Passionate about teaching and student development
3. Skills in Curriculum Development and Pedagogy
4. Experience in Education and Educational Leadership
5. Strong Communication skills
6. Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team
7. Significant experience in teaching and school management (minimum 2 years)
8. A relevant postgraduate qualification, such as a Master's in Education, is advantageous
