Job Purpose

To assist superior to activate, grow and expand productivity of Employee Benefits Scheme and to retain existing renewal business via broking/direct/agency channels.

The Role:

  1. Working with superior to plan and strategize to achieve personal sales target by developing renewal and new business.
  2. Responsible for business development of GID-EB through distribution channel to achieve business targets.
  3. Track sales performance and key initiatives to prepare weekly sales report.
  4. Management of the day-to-day distribution support and activities for existing corporate clients.
  5. Building and maintaining professional relationships and actively engage with brokers to ensure delivery and uphold high level of service experience.
  6. To assist in organizing events, employee briefing, CUR presentation for corporate clients.
  7. To monitor seamless implementation, including policy enrolment, briefing, policy set up and billing issuance.
  8. Involve in projects or initiatives that will further grow the overall EB business.
  9. Collaborate proactively and transparently with internal stakeholders (Operation, Finance, Claims, etc.) to optimize customer experience.
  10. To follow up on outstanding premiums and claims recoveries.
  11. Adhere to Credit Control Procedure (CCP).
  12. Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
  13. Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
  14. Highlights any potential concerns/risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

The Person:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Administration, Insurance, or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales-related role.
  3. Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain relationships across the organization and externally.
  4. Proven track record in sales, marketing, or business development with excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills.
  5. Skilled at handling complaints and requests with urgency, maintaining impartiality objectivity.
  6. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays or after office hours for training, product launches or special events.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  8. Excellent ability to communicate, present, persuade and influence effectively at all levels of the organization.
  9. Strong sales and customer service skills, with the ability to assess client needs, provide quality services and uphold high standards.
  10. Self-motivated, resilient and capable of thriving in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
  11. High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
  12. Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
