• To assist and support Branch Manager in executing business plans and strategies to achieve branch targets (including personal) as well as the Bank's overall objectives.
• To familiarize with the Bank's standard procedures and workflow to ensure full compliance with the Bank's requirement.
• To assist and support Local Corporate Banking's and China Corporate Banking's Departmental Heads in executing business plans and strategies to achieve business targets as well as Bank's overall objectives focusing on Local Listed Companies, China-Based companies, MNC, GLCs.
• To market and cross sell the Bank's other products and services accordingly to the prescribed policies and guidelines.
• Responsible to take the initiative and action towards achieving team's business targets to generate revenue for the Branch and Bank including but not limited to identifying market opportunities and business prospects and to take strategic initiatives, plans & actions to promote and close business deals.
• In compliance with the credit policies/guidelines and shareholder mandates, to recommend and submit credit facilities proposals pertaining to Corporate loans application to seek management approval for customer's acceptance and loans implementation.
• To observe and monitor the review due dates and to conduct credit review on timely basis pertaining to portfolio under the team's management.
• Timely response to Credit Evaluation's, Credit Risk's, Credit Management's and Credit Committee Member's queries pertaining to all accounts under the team's management.
• To provide high quality & professional customer services delivery to new and existing assigned portfolio in a timely & accurate manner, and ensure efficient and effective marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of business development services is being carried out through marketing action plans.
• Identify market opportunities and business prospects and to take strategic initiatives, plans & actions to promote and close business deals.
• To conscientiously comply with all the relevant operating procedures/policies, product guidelines and regulatory rules & controls, including the Anti-Money Laundering Act 2001 and other related banking rules & regulations, and execute the responsibilities according to lawful and ethical standards in respect of the assigned customers segment under the team's management.
• Constantly maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation of the Bank in the markets and with all staff, customers, business partners and regulatory/ official bodies.
• To keep abreast with the market environment and competitors' product offerings from time to time to remain relevant in the market
• To ensure strict compliance of the Bank, Bank Negara Malaysia, other regulators and ICBC Head Office’s Policy, Procedure and Manual issued from time to time.
• Be primary responsible in managing compliance risk inherent in the day-to-day activities, processes and systems for which it is accountable.
• Undertake any ad-hoc tasks as and when required by Head of Department and/or the Senior Management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least a Bachelor degree in finance, banking, accounting or equivalent from a reputable university. Possesses with professional credit certification such as PCC, CCE, BCP or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of working experience in corporate banking and or SME business of banking/ financial institutions with good track record of performance achievements.
• PC literate preferably in Windows Microsoft Office (e.g. Words, Excel, etc).
• Good communication skills in English and/or Mandarin (both verbal and written).
• Basic areas of knowledge and skills required:
