Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Dentist at Klinik Pergigian Smile Borneo located in Kota Kinabalu. The Dentist will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care including routine check-ups, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, and preventive dental care. The role will involve patient education on oral health, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring all dental equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of dental procedures including consultations, diagnostics, restorations, extractions, root canal treatments, scaling & polishing, and prosthodontics.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and treatment options.
  • Collaborate closely with other medical professionals to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
  • Work collaboratively with dental/medical assistants, front desk staff, and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Support clinic campaigns, wellness programs, and corporate health initiatives.
  • Participate in continuing professional development and clinic improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS/DDS/DMD) or equivalent.
  • Fully registered with theMalaysian Dental Council (MDC)and holds a validAnnual Practicing Certificate (APC).
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (new graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with a holistic, patient-first approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A team player with the ability to work in amulti-disciplinary healthcare setting.
  • Open to continuous learning and innovation.
