Responsibilities

• Perform four-handed dentistry efficiently
• Assist in minor oral surgeries, extractions, and other clinical procedures
• Suction, retract, and pass instruments during treatments
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Follow infection-control and cross-contamination protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms
• Manage clinical waste according to safety regulations
• Prepare patients for treatment and provide chairside reassurance
• Explain post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist
• Assist patients before, during, and after procedures
• Monitor patient condition and report concerns to the dentist
• Update patient records and treatment notes in the clinic system

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures and surgeries


• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before procedures


• Perform four-handed dentistry efficiently


• Assist in minor oral surgeries, extractions, and other clinical procedures


• Suction, retract, and pass instruments during treatments

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment

3. Patient Care & Support

• Prepare patients for treatment and provide chairside reassurance


• Explain basic post-operative and oral care instructions as directed by the dentist


• Assist patients before, during, and after procedures


• Monitor patient condition and report concerns to the dentist

4. Equipment & Inventory Management

• Maintain and check dental equipment functionality


• Assist in managing dental supplies and stock levels


• Report faulty equipment and low inventory to management

5. Administrative & Support Duties

• Update patient records and treatment notes in the clinic system


• Assist with appointment coordination when needed


• Support front desk or other clinical staff when required


• Perform other duties assigned by the dentist or management
