Job summary

Mayora Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Demand & Supply Manager to lead end-to-end demand and supply planning for the FMCG portfolio, translating forecasts into actionable supply requirements and maintaining optimal inventory health.

The role collaborates with Sales, Marketing, CCD, Finance, Procurement, Logistics and regional teams to drive S&OP, improve forecast accuracy, manage stock, and minimize excess or near-expiry inventory while ensuring reliable product availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly demand planning cycle for assigned product categories, brands and SKUs
• Develop rolling demand forecasts using historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotional plans, new product launches and commercial inputs
• Partner with Sales, Marketing and CCD teams to validate assumptions and build a realistic consensus forecast
• Track forecast accuracy and forecast bias, identify key variances and implement corrective actions
• Translate the approved demand forecast into supply, replenishment and inventory requirements
• Coordinate supply plans with factories, principals, regional supply teams, Procurement, Logistics and Warehouse to ensure timely product availability
• Lead and coordinate the monthly S&OP process, ensuring demand, supply, inventory and commercial assumptions are aligned
• Establish and monitor inventory targets, safety stock levels, days of inventory and stock cover by SKU/category
• Prepare regular demand, supply and inventory reports for management review
• Drive continuous improvement in demand and supply planning processes, tools, reporting and planning discipline

Job description

The Demand & Supply Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end demand and supply planning process to ensure optimal product availability, inventory health and service levels across Mayora Malaysia's FMCG portfolio. The role translates sales forecasts and commercial plans into reliable demand projections and supply requirements, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Category & Channel Development (CCD), Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse and regional/principal supply teams. The incumbent will drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, improve forecast accuracy, manage inventory and replenishment, identify supply risks and opportunities, and ensure the business maintains the right stock at the right time while minimizing excess, obsolete and near-expiry inventory.
