This role owns, leads and manages the demand planning process for its market:

  • Lead the implementation of the Global demand planning template collaborating within the market to ensure that the most relevant data and business intelligence is used to generate the most accurate demand forecast and respond quickly to demand signals maximizing service levels.
  • Lead the overall market demand planning process ensuring timely availability and accuracy of the plans based on a statistical baseline and market intelligence collected from the various key stakeholders in the market.
  • Ensure that new product introductions are timely reflected in the demand plans while meeting service, cash and cost targets by collaborating with the Global Category Team and Customer Service.
  • Assist and support the Manager IBP in preparation and facilitation of market IBP, identifying main drivers, opportunities and risks while ensuring the outcome is seamlessly integrated into the subsequent supply chain planning processes.
  • Responsible for forecasting performance, process excellence, continuous improvement and adherence/implementation of global standards and reporting requirements.
  • Accountable for Standard, Improvement Processes and Systems with collaboration with CoE on the preparation, deployment, and utilization of the operating guidelines.
  • Organize, manage, staff and develop a motivated, skilled, and optimally resourced team to ensure that performance levels and professional development will achieve or exceed business objectives.
  • Maximize the organizational and individual performance in attainment of business objectives, manage, coach, develop and motivate staff as a key to reaching excellence.
  • Reinforce and adapt a process-oriented structure with continuous optimization of utilization of manpower and equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related fields.
  • APICS certification and/or certification in Business Forecasting & Planning (IBF) and/or Lean Six Sigma certification are a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Electronics or Medical Device industry with experience in forecasting, Supply Chain Planning, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and data analytics.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Supply Chain Planning Solutions and Forecasting Solutions (E2OPEN suite is a strong plus).
  • Ability to anticipate issues and risks and react before they happen. Ability to see causes and effects through the supply chain.
  • Ability to process, use, understand, interpret and synthesize large amounts of data to make decisions and improve business performance.
  • Business Acumen - Ability to communicate analytical analysis in a comprehensive manner linking it to the business environment with an understanding of their implications.
  • Influencing Skills - Ability to influence process improvement and changes cross-functionally.
  • Interpersonal Skills - Ability to communicate effectively up and down the organization and manage conflicts.
