To support the Manager in managing and co-ordinating the activities of our supply chain and its partners, optimising the Company’s efficiency and working capital whilst maintaining the service levels demanded by our customers.
- Drive monthly S&OP and forecast meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Develop 12-month rolling demand forecast, incorporating market intelligence (promotions, phase in/phase out, new launches, discontinuations) from Sales and Marketing teams. Challenge the forecast as needed.
- Translate demand plan into supply plan for order placement to principals.
- Balance demand and supply needs of omni-channels, facilitate product allocation or product rebalancing as and when required.
- Reconcile supply plan to demand plan to mitigate shortfalls and excess stocks situations for new launches, production related shortages or unforecasted demand spikes.
- Analyse and highlight business risk and opportunity to stakeholders and jointly propose appropriate mitigation plans.
- Conduct historical sales analysis and data cleansing to build statistical baseline forecast.
- Develop and prepare monthly forecasting files, S&OP and KPI reports.
- Participate in demand & supply planning projects.
- Have a tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of relevant working experience that will allow the successful performance of job expectations.
- At least 1 year of related working experience in supply chain / procurement industry.
- Have collaborated with regulatory affairs groups to assess pending and new regulations and changes, and have demonstrated the ability to reduce and manage complexity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP experience is an added advantage.
- Have good organization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
