About the role

As a Delivery Coordinator for Glimex Industries Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods to our customers. Based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, this full-time position will involve coordinating the movement of products from our warehouses to the final destination, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the company's high standards of service.

What you'll be doing

Liaise with customers to confirm delivery requirements and schedules

Coordinate the dispatch of orders from the warehouse to customer locations

Monitor the progress of deliveries and provide regular updates to customers

Troubleshoot any delivery issues and implement solutions to minimise disruptions

Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and documentation

Collaborate with the logistics team to optimise delivery routes and processes

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's distribution operations

What we're looking for

Experience in a delivery coordination or logistics role, preferably in the manufacturing or distribution industry

Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and internal teams

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle delivery challenges

Proficient in using transportation management systems and other relevant software

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy

Collaborative mindset and the willingness to work as part of a team
