About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Dealer Manager I to provide strategic leadership across parts, service, administration, and sales at our owned dealership site. This role is critical in ensuring the effective performance of our dealership, driving customer satisfaction, and contributing to the profitability objectives of Volvo Trucks International.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead operational planning and execution across parts, service, admin, and sales in line with strategic goals and annual targets.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, Safety, Health, Environment & Quality standards, leading all safety initiatives to achieve zero accidents.
  • Champion customer satisfaction by conducting customer visits, resolving complaints promptly, and ensuring alignment with Volvo’s 7 customer commitments.
  • Drive growth in parts and service sales, engaging the sales team, monitoring the sales funnel, and securing new business opportunities.
  • Monitor dealership profitability, credit control, quality, and risk management, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Implement and maintain global standard systems and processes as outlined in the Retail Operation Manual (ROM).
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team—review KPIs, identify training needs, and foster an inclusive and sustainable culture.
  • Control selling and administrative expenses to achieve financial targets.
  • Draft and present business reports to senior leadership.
  • Foster employee engagement through regular touchpoints, hazard walks, safety briefings, and team meetings.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Dealer Manager (or equivalent) in the Commercial Vehicle Industry
  • Proven technical and sales knowledge
  • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and business reporting
  • Data-driven decision-making with strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Resilient, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement
