Job description

Purpose Statement
Responsible for all outbound activities within the distribution center. Perform procedures related to exports and ensure products are picked, packaged, and shipped with proper documentation. Support inbound activities within the distribution center.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise the shipping process for exporting finished goods, including personnel preparing shipments, ensuring procedures follow local and corporate standards.
• Create and process documentation for export or import goods, including cargo manifests. Determine transportation costs as needed. Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding export/import procedures.
• Maintain operations records and metrics reports.
• Collaborate with planning and purchasing to monitor the transit of goods with third-party logistics and sterilization services to ensure supply chain performance.
• Create invoices and issue insurance policies.
• Monitor import and export activities.
• Coordinate transportation options and monitor freight expenses, seeking cost-saving alternatives.
• Support new projects to expand distribution center services.

Job Requirements

• Candidate should hold at least a degree in a related field.
• Preferably in Logistics/Warehousing with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
