Working Model: Hybrid – Kuala Lumpur

Form of cooperation: B2B Contract

Responsibilities

• Technical Project Support – Provide ongoing technical consultation and support for active projects, particularly focusing on integration topics across BI systems, ensuring seamless data flow and minimal disruption to business operations.
• Central Topic Exploration – Lead exploratory initiatives on Datasphere as a platform, identifying integration gaps, evaluating capabilities, and recommending solutions to optimize BI system connectivity.
• Authorization Management – Oversee authorization transfer processes from BW to Datasphere, coordinating implementation in line with enterprise security standards and ensuring proper access control.
• Data Blending and Integration – Design and implement data blending concepts within Datasphere, supporting integration with third-party orchestration tools and facilitating smooth cross-system workflows.
• Delta Loading and Model Optimization – Develop delta loading strategies, rebuild BW models as needed, and optimize data pipelines to enhance performance and accuracy.
• Tenant Sizing and Capacity Planning – Estimate tenant sizing requirements and provide recommendations for scaling resources based on project and operational needs.
• Future Data Integration Initiatives – Contribute to forward-looking projects, including integration with cloud-based data lakes, AI tools, and advanced planning solutions, ensuring long-term platform scalability.
• Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing – Work closely with cross-functional teams to explore shared use cases, support enterprise-wide integration initiatives, and document best practices for Datasphere usage.
• Compliance and Security – Ensure all Datasphere implementations and integrations adhere to organizational data governance, security policies, and compliance standards.
• Project Documentation and Reporting – Maintain clear documentation of technical designs, integration processes, and exploration outcomes to support project transparency and knowledge transfer.

Must-Have Skills

• Experience – Minimum 6 years in BI/Data Warehousing, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere.
• SAP Datasphere Expertise – Strong knowledge of Datasphere architecture, modeling, and administration; proven ability to design and manage data flows and data products.
• SAP BW/4HANA Knowledge – In-depth understanding of BW/4HANA, including BW to Datasphere integration, authorization transfer, delta mechanisms, and model rebuilding.
• Data Integration Skills – Experience integrating Datasphere with third-party orchestration tools (e.g., Automic) and cloud data lakes (preferably MS Azure/EDP); familiarity with data loading strategies and delta processing.
• Data Modeling Skills – Proficient in graphical and SQL-based data modeling within Datasphere.
• Innovation and Exploration – Ability to explore and define new use cases such as AI/ML integration, BDC, Joule integration, and seamless planning; evaluate platform fit for system integration scenarios.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills – Strong capability to identify integration gaps, propose solutions, and ensure smooth end-to-end system connectivity.
• Collaboration – Effective in working with cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge, and contributing to enterprise-wide BI initiatives.
