Responsibilities

About the Team
The Datacenter Infrastructure Engineering team supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyperscale datacenters. The team manages the end-to-end lifecycle of the server fleet, providing cloud solutions and various infrastructure services to ensure scalability and reliability.

About the Role
The team is seeking candidates with strong technical infrastructure backgrounds, passionate about engineering excellence, and committed to providing effective and sustainable solutions with a forward-looking approach. You should understand the challenges of deploying infrastructure at scale and have experience designing systems and platforms that set global standards for performance, availability, security, and cost. Your work will influence processes worldwide.

Responsibilities

1. Support the DC Operations team as a Subject Matter Expert to understand and manage design limitations and risks.
2. Regularly audit, review, and collaborate with CoLocation Partners on their maintenance programs and effectiveness.
3. Participate in and review Data Hall Fit-Outs to ensure design specifications are followed.
4. Manage and drive the change management process for high-risk maintenance activities in data centers.
5. Maintain positive and collaborative relationships with partner teams, vendors, teammates, and internal customers.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma or Professional Certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of standard power and cooling calculations necessary for capacity planning (e.g., TIA-942, ASHRAE).
• Experience with Power Redundancy design (e.g., 2N or N+1 Distributed Redundant).
• Understanding of Cooling Redundancy and Concurrent Maintainability (e.g., N+1 or N+2).
• Experience supervising Data Hall fit-outs, including IT services coordination, power, and cooling planning.
• Ability to influence testing and commissioning teams to perform validation tests and resolve technical issues.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems such as generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, UPS, and electrical sub-distribution systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to clarity and detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• High agility in prioritizing work in a complex, fast-paced environment with high ambiguity.
• Experience engaging with vendors, projects, or programs.
• Good judgment and a calculated risk approach during uncertainties.
