Job summary

Luxoft is seeking Software Engineers to join a newly created technology centre in Kuala Lumpur for a leading banking client. You will develop and maintain data integration solutions across GDW and Data Mart environments, leveraging Teradata IntelliFlex, Informatica, and ETL tools to support data processing and analytics.

You will work with Teradata components, Spark, Hive, Kafka, and BI platforms like Power BI and Qlik Sense to deliver data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Data Warehouse/EDW development.
• Experience with Global Data Warehouse (GDW) and Data Mart environments.
• Experience with listed data warehouse, ETL, database and BI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data integration solutions for GDW and Data Mart environments.
• Work with Teradata IntelliFlex and Informatica Data Integration tools for data extraction, transformation and loading.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica BDM, IDQ and IDL.
• Work with Teradata components, including TD Studio, MDM, FSLDM, GCFR and Viewpoint.
• Perform database operations and data processing across AS400 DB2, Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Work with data processing and analytics technologies, including Spark, HUE, Hive, Impala and Kafka.
• Support business intelligence and reporting solutions using Microsoft Business Intelligence, Qlik Sense, Power BI and Business Objects.
• Work with SAS, Microsoft R and Experian PowerCurve platforms.
• Use QuerySurge for data validation and testing activities.
• Support development and deployment activities using Jenkins, Bitbucket, SonarQube and Aldon.
• Work with JIRA for project tracking and Control-M for job scheduling.

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising, and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.
