Job summary

Thakral One is seeking a Data Subject Matter Expert (SME) to serve as the primary data contact across enterprise platforms, translating business needs into system mappings and driving data adoption. You will bridge business users and technology teams to improve data usage and reduce engineering dependency.

You will lead data requirements, glossary creation, and data product readiness across data warehouses, lakes, and feature stores, while supporting UAT and data onboarding initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Business Analyst.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise data platforms or analytics environments.
• Strong understanding of data concepts including data models, datasets, and data lineage.

Responsibilities

• Act as the go-to point of contact for data-related queries across domains and business users.
• Identify the right data elements, datasets, and data products for use cases.
• Translate data requirements into logical and physical mappings (source systems, tables, columns).
• Collaborate with Group Technology and data engineering to interpret requirements and perform data deep-dives.
