Job summary

6255 UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks a security professional focused on cryptography and Java. You will contribute to encryption, key management, and PKI initiatives within the InnoHub2 unit.

Join a Centre of Excellence delivering group services for the UOB Group, with opportunities to work on TLS/SSH security, HSMs, and certificate management across platforms. Relevant engineering or CS degree and 5–7 years of cryptography experience required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in engineering/Computer Science / IT/Cyber Security from a recognized education institution.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in Cryptography and Java.
• Willing to work during weekend or wee hours to support security administration activities.
• Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Must be process oriented and organized.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Must be able to communicate ideas clearly, in writing and verbally; including technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Practical experience in data encryption, key management, and cryptographic technologies.
• Understanding of encryption techniques, tools, and best practices.
• Preferred experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), key management systems, and data protection solutions.
• Familiarity with security protocols such as TLS and SSH.
• Proficiency in cryptographic principles, digital certificates, and PKI standards.
• Knowledge of various operating systems and file systems.
• Supports SSL activities such as CSR generation, Certificate Issuance and Cert Injection.
• Support Issuance/Revoke of certificates for Mac OS and other systems.
