Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia invites a Data Scientist (12-months) to join our asset servicing analytics initiative in Putrajaya. You will consolidate data, build pipelines and predictive models linking errors to operational drivers, and deliver dashboards to strengthen resilience.

Ideal candidates have a strong data science background, proficiency in Python, SQL, and BI tools, and experience working with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, information technology, statistics, mathematics, engineering, finance analytics or related disciplines.
• Proven hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
• Experience applying predictive analytics or statistical modelling to operational, financial, or business process data.
• Solid experience in Python (or similar language) for data analysis, modelling, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Data Preparation & Management: Collect, consolidate and prepare operational data from multiple sources; perform data cleansing and validation; maintain structured datasets for reporting and analytics.
• Analytics and Predictive Model Support: Analyze data to identify trends, prepare datasets for modelling, validate model outputs.
• Reporting & Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards; support ad-hoc reporting.
• Learning, Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with Operations, Technology and Business teams; participate in process improvements; document processes.
