Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is partnering with a leading life insurer undergoing a digital transformation to hire a data scientist who can build traditional ML models to improve day-to-day operations.

You will design end-to-end models, perform time-series forecasting, anomaly detection and classification, and collaborate with technical leads and executives to translate business questions into quantitative solutions using Python and SQL, with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch and XGBoost for production

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist.
• Strong business acumen with ability to translate business requirements into technical problems.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Model Development: design, build, evaluate, and deploy predictive models.
• Predictive & Time Series Modeling to forecast business outcomes.
• Anomaly Detection & Classification to identify operational issues and refine workflows.
• Pipeline & Feature Engineering using Python and SQL on structured and unstructured data.
• Framework Implementation with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and XGBoost for production models.
• Stakeholder Collaboration to present findings to technical leads and executives.
