Job summary

Gen is seeking a Data Scientist to build data solutions that support critical day-to-day business decisions. You will apply analytics, experimentation and ML to enhance MoneyLion products with data-driven decisions, embedded within product teams to drive revenue and reduce costs.

You will collaborate with Product, Data Engineers and ML teams, deploying experiments and AI solutions, and delivering tangible business value while continuously improving data collection and measurement processes.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical, statistical or actuarial background.
• Hands-on experience in machine learning, predictive analytics and statistical modeling.
• Proficiency with A/B testing and experimentation framework is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to visualize data and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; understanding of data structures and modeling.
• Ability to collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver AI-powered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses to understand how users interact with products and how to improve them.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Identify anomalies and investigate their root causes.
• Design and build experiments to solve challenging data and business problems.
• Collaborate with product owners to discover insights and influence performance roadmaps.
• Develop dashboards to track relevant metrics and measure success.
• Ensure data-driven decision making across the organization.
• Apply or refine AI algorithms to deliver business value.
