Your new company

You’ll be working for a reputable market-leader within the construction industry who is looking for a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to be based in Malaysia to join its rapidly expanding business.


Your new role

  • Data collection, data mapping, vendor management reviews and setting standards in compliance with GDPR and PDPA.
  • Local data privacy laws and advise on privacy impact assessments.
  • Primary point of contact for data protection.
  • Liaising with privacy lawyers for advice on local data privacy law issues.
  • Conduct data privacy audits according to ISO 27001.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 4–10 years’ experience in Data Governance, Protection and Compliance.
  • Knowledge of audit, control and security standards.
  • Experienced in EU data privacy and protection laws and other worldwide legislation.
  • Travelling abroad may be required.
