About the role

Join MIYA GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY as a Data Product Analyst in our fast-paced Kuala Lumpur office. As a key member of our Information & Communication Technology team, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making for the company.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive data management system, ensuring the stability and security of company-wide data operations through well-defined processes, policies, and tools.
2. Design data strategies for social platform users and establish a business metric system, leveraging data infrastructure to support product direction and growth strategies.
3. Identify and refine business data analysis scenarios, extract and address analytics needs from stakeholders, and iteratively enhance data platform applications to empower business functions.
4. Drive data-driven initiatives, oversee company-wide data product development, data governance, and data asset management, with a focus on data security and compliance.
5. Conduct routine data analysis, maintain data reports, and provide insights to address business challenges.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a data analyst, business analyst, or in a similar data-driven role.
• Proficient in product prototyping tools, with experience in building data systems or data products, and strong skills in requirement abstraction and product design.
• Strong data-driven mindset, proficient in SQL, with a high sensitivity to data, and familiarity with data analysis and data visualization.
• Possesses business acumen and a strong understanding of industry trends; goal-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Highly execution-driven, proactive, capable of independent thinking, summarization, and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
