Job summary

StarHub is seeking a Principal Data Platform Engineer to lead and scale the DXP Data Platform. The role focuses on reliability, security, automation, and performance across AWS, Snowflake, and SageMaker environments, with a blended team of internal engineers and vendor resources.

You will drive platform maturity and Day 2 operations. The ideal candidate has 6–10 years in cloud/platform engineering, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with AWS services, Snowflake DB, SageMaker, and DevOps

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in cloud/platform engineering.
• Experience with multi-environment data platforms (DEV/SIT/PROD).
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on AWS, Snowflake, SageMaker and Datapipe expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end infrastructure and platform operations on AWS, Snowflake and SageMaker.
• Lead design, build and automation of data platform engineering and DevOps.
• Drive monitoring, cost optimization and performance tuning.
• Manage a hybrid team of internal engineers and vendor resources.
