Job summary

Deriv.com is seeking a data engineering leader in Cyberjaya, Malaysia to own the environment in which great engineering happens and to drive the birth of reliable, scalable data pipelines for product analytics, compliance, trading systems, and AI/ML workloads.

You will lead a team, shape delivery velocity, and set governance standards while collaborating with product, finance, and leadership to turn requirements into executable roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering with track record leading delivery.
• 4+ years in an engineering leadership role delivering multi-quarter roadmaps.
• Deep expertise with cloud data stacks and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a data engineering team and own delivery, growth, and operating standards.
• Own data pipelines reliability, governance, and data quality across internal systems.
