Data Engineer (Database)

Our client isis a boutique Software House that offers unique IT products and services tailored to your business needs and requirement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and Support for all DBMS/RDBMS utilized by Tech COE Team. Responsibilitiesincludes (but not limited to) regular tasks such as:
  o DB Release Management
  o DB uptime monitoring
  o DB Optimization
  o DB Security & managing User Access & Permissions
  o Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution
  o Backup, Recovery, and Archival
• Hands-on & Advisory work on System Integration & Database related tasks includes(but not limited to) regular tasks such as:
  o User Requirement Study
  o Backend (C#.net) development on Web Service, Windows Service
  o DB Design, Configuration & Implementation
  o SQL scripting (e.g. Stored Procedures)
  o Database Systems & Data Migration Projects
  o ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
  o DB Integration (e.g SSIS)
  o Test Data Preparation & Management
• Collaborate with internal development team to design and develop in-house software applications.
• Collaborate with external vendors to deploy and maintain vendor software applications.
• Project Documentation and adherence to DevOps Practices.
• Explore and test new version of DBMS (aside from MSSQL).

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree Specialized in: IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science.
• At least 6 years of experience in Software Development and System Integration.
• In-Depth knowledge and hands-on work experience in MSSQL (On-Premise and Azure Cloud).
• MSSQL with knowledge in SSIS, SSAS, T-SQL, Data Warehousing.
• Excellent knowledge in RDBMS concepts and experience in SQL Scripting (e.g. joins, subqueries, indexes, views, stored procedures, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge in working with web services, window services, API platforms.

Remuneration:

MYR 8,000 - MYR 15,000
