Job Description

Implement initiatives to drive the development and optimization of data products. This encompasses building data pipelines, extract-transform-load (ETL) processes, model integration and user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards using web development tools such as Next.js, Django, and TailwindCSS.
• Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, ETL jobs, and data infrastructure for processing and analysing large datasets from diverse sources.
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot the performance and reliability of servers, applications, data systems and infrastructure, resolving issues as needed.
• Collaborate with line departments to gather and analyse users’ data and analytical needs, ensuring data solutions align with business objectives and support departmental goals.
• Work collaboratively to maintain the necessary infrastructure for efficient and effective data processing and analysis.
• Implement and maintain privacy and security measures to ensure compliance with access controls and data protection regulations.
  

Qualifications

Academic Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or equivalent.

Experience: At least 2 years of working experience. Experience in data engineering and/or software engineering is an added advantage. Experience in Data Analytics, Data Science and AI are an added advantage.
