Job summary

Techstreet Malaysia is seeking a data engineer to design, build and manage our data infrastructure in Kuala Lumpur. You will ensure data is organized, accessible and secure to enable data-driven decisions across the business.

You will design data models, develop a scalable data warehouse, integrate data from OT systems, and work with IT and business users to deliver reliable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in database engineering or database management
• Understanding of data architecture and data modelling, operating technologies
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala; knowledge of data warehousing principles

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models to support business processes
• Develop and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including OT systems, to create a unified view
• Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and cleaning processes
