Job summary

Etiqa Insurance and Takaful is seeking a data pipeline specialist to transform raw data into standardized datasets and support data-informed decision making in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on building, maintaining, and documenting scalable data workflows and pipelines.

The position emphasizes collaboration with analytics, design, product, and executive teams to deliver reliable datasets for reporting and analytics within a 12-month contract with potential permanent absorption.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, software engineering, data analytics or data scientist, computer science.
• Good knowledge on ETL/Analytics Tools.
• Good knowledge on SQL and PLSQL.

Responsibilities

• Design workflows and data pipelines to transform raw data sources into clean, tested, and reusable datasets based on agreed data models.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to produce datasets that are shareable and usable across the organization.
• Apply data transformations to deliver outputs for different business requirements.
• Prepare, standardize, and improve documentation on workflows and datasets to ensure consistent definitions end-to-end.
• Build analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline and provide actionable insights into key business metrics like operational efficiency and customer acquisition.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across data, design, product and executive teams and assist them with data-related issues.
• Build efficient, best-practice data pipelines for better performance.
• Employment Type: 12-month contract on renewal/ absorb to permanent.
