Summary

We are looking for a candidate that is technology focused, passionate and driven but also has excellent stakeholder management skills and can work well with people across the globe.

Primary Objective

• Work with business stakeholders across multiple teams to deliver projects on time and to specifications
• Actively contribute to the Data Integration Strategy
• Help establish best practices around Data Integration development processes and delivery of services
• Help Design, Develop and Implement scalable Data Integration solutions for whole of business
• Ensure projects are completed on time and deliver on requirements Responsibilities
• Development of Data Integration Project work as required, including Data Pipelines from both internal and external systems, orchestration, cleansing and transformation
• Work with the Data Integration Manager to provide solutions for project work and build accurately to project requirements
• Help maintain and improve Data Integration standards and architecture to align with best practices
• Collaborate with other Data Engineers, Software Engineers, and Business Intelligence Developers on projects to deliver results
• Ensure development work adheres to wider Domino’s architectural standards
• Understand Data Compliance requirements and ensure all processes are adhering to these correctly
• Work with the Business Intelligence Operations team to ensure appropriate level of detail is provided for releases and adhere to change control processes
• Appropriate time sheet logging against project work
• Maintain documentation as required

Experience and Skills

• 5+ years’ experience with T-SQL
• SQL Server 2008 +
• Clear and demonstrated knowledge of ETL processes
• SSIS & Azure Data Factory experience preferred
• Experience with JavaScript preferred
• Experience with REST API endpoints preferred
• Experience with Snowflake preferred
• Experience in Data modelling
• Excellent Data Analysis skills
• Data Visualisation experience (preferably Grafana, Power BI or SSRS) preferred
• Good communication skills
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to problem solve complex problems and processes
• Ability to self-learn new technologies
• Passionate about new and emerging technologies
• Experience or exposure with cloud-based data environments
• Experience or proven understanding of GDPR preferred

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in IT (or 5+ years relevant experience) Experience and Skills – Good to have
• Experience with Agile methods
• Experience with Jira and/or Azure DevOps
• Experience with Change Management Procedures
• Experience with OOP languages a bonus (C#, Java) Language
• Very good command of English, both written and verbal
