Job summary

Fuku, a Malaysia-based data-first tech company, is looking for a Data Engineer (Remote) to join a fast-growing team.

The role is remote with a weekly meeting in Klang Valley; you will build data lakes, revamp data warehouses, and support BI and data science initiatives.

Requirements include 2+ years of Python and SQL experience and AWS data pipelines; familiarity with Power BI, Metabase, and Google Analytics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Python and SQL.
• Experience building data pipelines within an AWS environment.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Metabase, and Google Analytics

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a data lake solution, including developing pipelines into the lake
• Revamp and optimize the data warehouse
• Design data pipelines and optimize databases and AWS Cloud infrastructure to support BI and data science teams in building crucial decision support tools
• Build prototypes and models, and validate solutions with stakeholders
