Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Data Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to design, build, and optimise robust data pipelines that drive business decisions.

You will work onsite on contract, collaborating with Product, Business, and Analytics teams, using Python, Airflow, and cloud services to ensure data integrity and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in IT, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience beyond first degree.
• Strong hands-on Python experience.
• Experience in ETL/ELT development and data pipeline creation.
• Hands-on Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform data services.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with GitLab or GitHub for code versioning and collaboration.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Good understanding of distributed computing principles.
• Working knowledge of G Suite, Jira, and Confluence.
