Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc is seeking a Data Consultant to partner with stakeholders to identify high‑value data opportunities and translate business visions into actionable roadmaps. You will lead technology transformations from strategy through execution, including PoCs and MVPs, while strengthening data governance, security standards and delivery quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering data‑driven solutions.
• Proficiency across the data stack including Big Data, BI, Data Warehousing, Visualization and modern MLE/DSE workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Strong understanding of access control (RBAC/ABAC) and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, SOX or HIPAA.
• Ability to solve complex challenges by aligning technical architectures with overarching business objectives.
• Experience leading cross‑functional, distributed teams and managing high‑pressure engagements effectively.
• Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences in English (B2 level or higher).
• A passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of emerging trends in the data and analytics landscape.
• Databricks experience and Snowflake experience are a nice‑to‑have addition.
