Job description
Responsibilities:
Access Control and CCTV Installation:
- Lead the installation and configuration of access control and CCTV systems.
- Ensure proper integration of access control and CCTV components for seamless functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation.
Service and Maintenance:
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on access control and CCTV systems.
- Respond promptly to service requests and provide timely resolution to technical issues.
- Implement preventive measures to avoid system downtime.
Data Center Environment:
- Apply knowledge and experience in working within a data center environment.
- Familiarity with data center protocols and security measures is highly desirable.
- Ensure compliance with data center policies and procedures.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all installation and service activities.
- Generate comprehensive reports and maintain internal documentation purposes.
Requirements:
Education and experience:
- Minimum of a technical diploma or relevant certification in electronics, information technology, or a related field.
- 5-10 years relevant experience.
- Proven experience as a lead technician or service technician in access control and CCTV systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in installing, configuring, programming, commissioning, and servicing ACS and CCTV systems.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, networking protocols and data communication in a data center environment.
- Basic scripting knowledge is a plus (Powershell, Bash).
Leadership Skills:
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of technicians.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and clients.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Problem-solving:
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Proactive approach to troubleshooting and system optimization.
Flexibility:
- Adaptability to changing project requirements and schedules.
- Willingness to work outside regular business hours when necessary.
