Jones Lang LaSalle Property Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking a Data Centre Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable operation and proactive maintenance of critical data centre infrastructure. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance of UPS, generators, HVAC, and electrical distribution within a 24/7 environment. You will monitor systems, respond to alarms, and work with vendors to minimize downtime. This position requires practical technical skills and a strong safety mindset.
Qualifications
Requires a relevant technical qualification in electrical, mechanical, or facilities engineering (HND, ONC, or equivalent).
Minimum 2–3 years of maintenance experience in 24/7 critical environments such as data centres, hospitals, or pharmaceutical facilities.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on UPS, generators, CRAC/CRAH, chillers, cooling towers, PDUs, and power distribution systems.
Inspect, test, and monitor infrastructure to ensure operation within specified parameters.
Monitor alarms and alerts from building management systems and respond accordingly.
Execute startup, shutdown, and changeover procedures for equipment.
Maintain logs of maintenance activities, readings, and incidents.
Support capacity planning by tracking utilization and performance metrics.
Diagnose and resolve equipment failures to minimize downtime.
Coordinate with vendors and third‑party service providers for repairs and warranty work.
Participate in root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
Follow safety procedures including LOTO, hot work permits, and confined space entry.
