Woh Hup Group is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer for aData Centre project in Johor, Malaysia. You will develop, monitor, and control detailed project schedules to meet milestones and contractual delivery timelines.

You will work with project management, engineering, procurement, commercial, and site teams to track progress, identify delays, and implement recovery measures for timely delivery. Experience in data centres or large-scale construction with a main contractor is highly

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• 3-5 years planning experience in construction.
• Main contractor experience preferred.
• Data centre or large-scale projects experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules for C&S, architectural, M&E, procurement, testing and commissioning.
• Prepare baseline programmes, master schedules, look-ahead schedules, and detailed construction schedules.
• Monitor progress against targets and milestones; identify deviations and delays.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, procurement, and subcontractors for progress updates.
• Analyse critical path, risks, and provide corrective actions to minimise delays.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and schedule performance updates.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress and reporting accuracy.
• Monitor long-lead items and procurement schedules for alignment with construction.
• Ensure subcontractors’ work programmes align with overall schedule.
• Develop recovery programmes and mitigation plans for delays.
• Assist in delay analysis and EOT documentation with project teams.
• Coordinate interfaces between C&S, architectural, M&E, and commissioning.
• Monitor testing and handover milestones for timely completion.
• Participate in planning meetings with schedule updates.
