Job Description

Development, establishment, and optimization of Mechanical & Electrical Standards, Guidelines, and Technical Specifications for Telecommunications and IT-related network/service facilities and infrastructures. Ensure the successful implementation of all network facilities projects to meet the current operational year, with a focus on design efficiency to support company growth, cost savings, system reliability, and robustness, ultimately contributing to the revenue and KPIs of the company, divisions, and departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate within the Network division and liaise with related departments on relevant matters.
• Provide cross-functional advice to Network Planning & Rollout, Operations, Field Force, Managed Services Providers, and others in Technology, Strategy, and Development.
• Participate in projects aimed at operational efficiency, focusing on CAPEX and OPEX reduction through infrastructure exchange, energy efficiency, and facility design optimization. Collaborate with internal teams and procurement through vendor negotiations.
• Develop site strategies and designs that prioritize CAPEX and OPEX savings without compromising safety and quality.
• Design processes to achieve shorter turnaround times for RFS (build cycle improvements).
• Implement system stability, business continuity planning (BCP), and disaster recovery planning (DRP) in site designs during upgrades or new installations to ensure system robustness.
• Collaborate with procurement and technology teams on RFP/Q processes to achieve cost-effective contracts or frame agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Strong experience in capacity planning and forecasting for scalable data centre infrastructure.
• Proven project management skills in data centre expansions, relocations, and equipment installations.
• Familiarity with industry standards, vendor management, and current trends in data centre facility planning.
• Innovative, analytical, result-oriented, with experience in cost reduction and design efficiency projects.
• Experience in developing technical standards, guidelines, specifications, consultancy, and strategic documentation.
• Self-motivated, proactive, patient, and a positive team player with a distinctive character.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels.
