Job summary

JLL is seeking a Data Center Electrical Engineer in Malaysia to implement, maintain, and optimize critical power infrastructure for mission‑critical data centers, ensuring uptime, reliability, and efficiency of power distribution and IT support equipment.

You will design and commission UPS systems, PDUs, switchgear, and generators, lead capacity planning, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with NEC/NFPA/IEEE standards while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5–7 years of data center electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with NEC, NFPA, IEEE and data center standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize critical power infrastructure in data centers.
• Develop electrical diagrams and layouts; lead design reviews.
• Oversee UPS, PDUs, switchgear, and generator systems operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting with minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for project delivery.
