Job summary

Real Data Matrix in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Diploma-qualified network professional to assist with configuration, installation, and maintenance in a data centre environment.

The role requires at least 2 years of related experience; CCNA or Nutanix certifications are preferred. You will monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, support end users, and participate in on-call incident response, while documenting issues and maintaining training materials.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Network/Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant field experience.
• Network theory, concepts & industrial practice.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software in data centre.
• Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and providing support to end users.
• Assisting senior engineers with routine tasks.
• Documenting technical issues, as well as providing basic training.
• Responding to help desk requests.
• Learning and staying updated on industry best practices and emerging network technologies.
• Providing timely and efficient on-call support and incident response, as needed.
