Job summary

RACK & STACK SOLUTIONS SDN BHD is offering a Data Center Infrastructure Internship for IT and Electrical Engineering students in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. You will support QA/QC Engineers with quality inspection, compliance verification for structured cabling, network rooms, and security systems.

You will accompany site inspections, help maintain document control for audit readiness, assist with ITPs and NCRs, and observe copper and fiber tests (Fluke/OTDR) under guidance from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, IT, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of network architecture or cabling is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Accompany QA/QC Engineers during site walkabouts to inspect high-density structured cabling, network rooms, and security surveillance systems
• Learn to verify cable routing, labeling standards, power/data segregation, and earthing/bonding compliance against project specifications
• Assist in managing Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and updating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) under the guidance of senior engineers
• Witness copper and fiber certification tests (Fluke/OTDR) and help verify functional testing of ELV systems
• Help maintain strict document control for test results, as-built drawings, and handover dossiers to ensure readiness for client and consultant audits
