Job summary

Hirehub Group is seeking an HVAC Quality Engineer to ensure quality, compliance, and performance of on-site HVAC systems for data centre projects in Banting, Selangor.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services, and at least 3 years of HVAC QA/QC experience in construction, with preference for data centre exposure. Strong English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
• Minimum 3 years HVAC QA/QC experience in construction.
• Experience in data centres or mission-critical facilities preferred.
• Proficient in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia; strong inspection and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement QA/QC procedures for HVAC works, including ITPs, checklists and method statements.
• Inspect installation of HVAC systems (CHW, CRAC/CRAH, AHU, FCU, ductwork, insulation, air distribution).
• Ensure HVAC systems meet N+1/2N redundancy, temperature/humidity control, and airflow requirements.
• Witness testing and commissioning, review reports, and handover documentation.
• Identify NCRs, perform root cause analysis, implement CAPA.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives for compliance.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and QA/QC reporting.
• Support project completion and final inspections and defect rectification.
