Job description

We are looking for a Data Center Facilities Engineer (Electrical) to support the daily operations, maintenance, and reliability of critical systems within the data center. The role focuses on maintaining 100% uptime and ensuring all maintenance activities are performed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for critical electrical and facility systems.
• Ensure timely completion of all scheduled and corrective work orders.
• Monitor, operate, and respond to alarms from EPMS, BMS, and Fire Systems with immediate action.
• Supervise and coordinate third-party contractors to ensure compliance with site standards.
• Support equipment failure investigations, root cause analysis, and prepare technical reports.
• Assist in the review and improvement of maintenance procedures and site-specific operating documents.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of Facilities Operations Centre (FOC), workshops, and work areas.

Requirements:

• Diploma or relevant technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields.
• 1-3 years of experience in data center or critical facilities maintenance preferred.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts
• Willing to work in Sedenak, Johor
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
