Job description

Our client is a leading developer and operator in Data Center market working closely with global presences: Singapore, Thailand, Korea, Japan, Philippines, Vietnam, UK, Germany, India. They are currently seeking for a Senior EHS Manager for their expansion in Malaysia. As a Senior EHS Manager, you will be in charge of developing, implementing, and managing health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. The successful candidate will be strong in critical incidents management with a keen passion for driving EHS culture. This role is critical in ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the construction project.

Responsibilities

  • EHS Program Development: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs and policies tailored to data center construction activities.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company standards and policies.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and job hazard analyses to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
  • Training: Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and subcontractors. Ensure all personnel are knowledgeable about safety protocols and procedures.
  • Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with EHS standards. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in construction management, civil engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering, or related disciplines
  • 10+ years of experience in managing EHS in design and construction, with minimum 5+ years of experience focusing on DC projects
