Job summary

TECO Electric & Machinery – Kuala Selangor, Selangor is seeking a detail-oriented QAQC Engineer to support quality assurance and quality control activities for data center projects, covering Core & Shell Electrical Equipment & Works, MV Genset installation and Data Hall HVAC erection.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical systems and QAQC processes, with 2–5 years’ experience in similar environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of QAQC experience in data center, M&E or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems including MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement QAQC guidelines per client and international standards.
• Review and approve MS, ITP, material submittals, NCRs and related documents.
• Conduct site walkdowns, inspections, and verification of electrical equipment and installations.
• Identify, raise, and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives on QAQC matters.
