Job summary

Peoplelake Resources Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced data center commissioning engineer in Malaysia to lead the commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems for hyperscale data center projects.

You will coordinate testing, ensure Tier compliance, and drive documentation and reports through a structured delivery process. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years in related fields, and hands-on experience with FAT, PST, IST, and IST procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, including 1-2 years in data center commissioning or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of data center HVAC systems and IST.
• Experience with Uptime Institute Tier standards and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and teams to review data center mechanical/electrical designs and provide engineering solutions.
• Develop and validate designs and calculations to meet client requirements and Tier standards.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and client teams to close gaps for Tier compliance.
• Lead commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems for hyperscale data center projects.
• Plan and witness FAT, PST, IST, and related testing; prepare commissioning plans and reports.
