Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Capacity Planning and Scheduling Engineer to prepare maintenance schedules for data center facilities. You will coordinate with MCEs, CFEs, and support teams to track preventive and planned maintenance activities within the CMMS and manage power and cooling capacity across sites.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, 5–7 years in building and electrical/HVAC operation, and ability to work a rotating 24/7 shift.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline.
• 5-7 years working experience in building, electrical and/or HVAC operation and maintenance.
• Experience with electrical distribution systems including generators and UPS, and/or HVAC systems, and/or Fire Systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support on planning of preventive maintenance and planned maintenance work to critical facility system and customer operation.
• Ensure all maintenance work order status updates are properly tracked in real time.
• Assist to collect maintenance data from the CMMS system and provide resource analysis and recommendations.
• Assist to upgrade maintenance records from paper to CMMS electronic version with implementation.
• Review Change Records, Work Orders, Service Plan Events, and associated schedules for upcoming planned critical work approval.
• Collect data for capacity review and deliver the capacity report on a monthly basis.
• Review operation efficiency of major equipment and systems to predict failures.
• Work with MCE/CFE to support the site operation team and incident handling if required.
