Job summary

Systems Limited - APAC is seeking a Data Architect to lead enterprise-scale cloud data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services.

You will define end-to-end architecture, design scalable data models, and guide real-time streaming and analytics initiatives across the organization.

The role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performance data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Cloud Data Platforms, Data Engineering, and Enterprise Analytics solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services, including OneLake, Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Spark Notebooks, Real-Time Intelligence, Eventstreams, and KQL Databases.
• Proven enterprise data modeling experience (conceptual, logical, physical).
• Strong experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture and implementation of enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Fabric.
• Design scalable, secure, high-performance cloud data architectures aligned with business goals.
• Develop data models to support enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Architect modern data engineering solutions using Fabric components (OneLake, Data Factory, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, Spark, Real-Time Intelligence).
• Govern ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines, including ELT/ETL and streaming architectures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Ensure performance, security, governance, and cost optimization across cloud environments.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to data engineers.
• Establish data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices.
